Thermal Overload (RED MMA 160 PRO)

A thermal overload on the RED MMA 160 PRO can occur if the welding machine is overused or the cooling is no longer sufficient. To prevent damage to the device, it switches off automatically. The device indicates excessively high temperatures by lighting up the thermometer symbol on the control panel. Below you will find possible causes and solutions.

Possible Causes and Solutions

1. Permissible duty cycle exceeded
   Solution: Let the device cool down while idle.

2. Airflow obstructed
   Solution: Check air inlet and outlet on the device.

3. Fan defective
   Solution: Turn the device off and on. The fan should start briefly; replace if necessary.

4. Ambient temperature too high
   Solution: Check the ambient temperature.

Note:
