RED by Lorch welding machines are easy to lift, transport, and handle, but it should be noted that improper transport can damage the machine and cause injuries.
To avoid hazards to the machine and health, the following points should be observed:
- Disconnect the connection to the gas cylinder before transport.
- Turn off the machine at the main switch before transport and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Do not pull the machine by the cable or the plug.
- The handle may only be used for manual transport by one person.
- Do not lift the machine by the housing using a forklift or similar equipment.
- Transport and place the machine only on firm and level ground. The maximum permissible tilt angle for transport and placement is 15°. Also observe the instructions for placement in the article "Placement of the Welding Machine"
- Secure yourself and the machine when working on elevated or inclined work surfaces.
