To ensure that your RED by Lorch welding machine can be operated safely and delivers its full performance, proper setup is crucial. Incorrect placement can not only lead to malfunctions or damage to the device but also pose a safety risk.
To ensure both operational safety and the longevity of your device, please observe the following points:
Danger from improper setup.
Improper setup can damage the device and cause injuries.
Place the device on a firm, level, and dry surface.
Ensure that the maximum tilt angle is 15°.
Secure yourself and the device when working on elevated or inclined work surfaces.
Make sure that the ventilation slots are always clear. Keep at least 30 cm distance from other objects.
Ensure that no conductive dust, corrosion-promoting vapours, or moisture are drawn in.
Observe the temperature ranges specified in the article “Working environment”.
Before setting up, relocating, or changing the location of the welding machine, always check whether the area is safe and suitable.
