In rare cases, the display of the RED MIG 210 SYN may show bubbles or irregular spots that visually resemble air bubbles under a protective film. It can also look like an irregular adhesion or as if the adhesive on a film has come loose. (see image)
These are not applied protective films, but films within the internal structure of the display, which may temporarily adhere to each other due to the manufacturing process.
Cause
During final assembly, an additional protective film with printed display graphics was applied to the display. Under certain conditions, applying this film could lead to a temporary adhesion of the internal layers.
The effect is optical in nature and has no impact on the function, operation, or lifespan of the device.
Solution
The issue can usually be easily resolved by yourself:
- Gently press the control buttons below and beside the display several times.
- Then move your fingers with slight pressure from the buttons towards the centre of the display.
- In most cases, the optical irregularity disappears immediately or completely after a short time.
Since this is purely an optical phenomenon, the technical functionality and safety of the affected devices are not impaired.
However, if the effect cannot be resolved despite repeated application of the described steps, please contact our service team via the contact form to clarify the further procedure.
