To ensure your MIG 210 SYN MIG-MAG welding machine from RED by Lorch operates reliably and lasts a long time, regular care and maintenance are necessary. Please observe the following instructions and intervals to avoid damage and ensure safety during welding.

Improper care can damage the device and cause injury.
- Switch off the device, unplug it from the mains and secure it against being switched on again.
- Do not use dripping wet cloths or high-pressure cleaners.
- Observe the applicable safety and accident prevention regulations.

Visually inspect the device
- Switch off the device.
- Unplug from the mains.
Check housing, controls, wire feed unit and accessories
- Check the following items for damage and wear:
- Housing
- Controls
- Wire feed rolls
- Wire inlet nozzle
- Wire guide tube
- Accessories
- Have the items replaced if necessary.
Check torch, electrode holder
- Check the following items for damage and wear:
- MIG-MAG torch: housing, contact tip, gas nozzle, wire guide liner
- TIG torch: housing, gas nozzle, collet, collet body
- Electrode holder: contact areas
- Replace the items if necessary.
- Clean the items if necessary.
Check cables and connections
- Check cables and connections for damage and wear and replace if necessary.
- Check connections for surface rust and remove if necessary.
Clean the device
- Switch off the device.
- Unplug the power plug.
Clean ventilation slots
- Vacuum the vents.
Clean wire feed compartment
- Open the wire feed side panel.
- Vacuum the wire feed space, especially the wire feed unit.
- Close the wire feed side panel.
NOTES
Never carry out repairs or technical modifications yourself. In such cases, the warranty will be void and the manufacturer rejects any product liability for the device. For problems and repairs, please contact RED by Lorch.
