Just like with the welding machine, regular maintenance of the torch extends its service life and improves welding quality.
Please observe the following instructions to avoid damage and ensure safety during welding.
Maintenance Measures
Cleaning the gas nozzle:
Remove spatter after each welding, e.g. with a nozzle pliers or by using anti-stick spray.Check the contact tip:
Check for wear and contact issues; replace if enlarged or if wire feed is irregular.Inspect and clean the liner:
Wire feed problems indicate contamination or damage. Blow out regularly or replace.Check the hose assembly:
Look for kinks, breaks or gas leaks. Replace damaged lines immediately.Allow the torch to cool regularly:
Avoid overheating, especially with air-cooled torches.Visual check before each use:
Check all wear parts for secure fit and cleanliness.
