The RED MIG 210 SYN is equipped with functions that make the welding process not only easier, but also noticeably more pleasant.
One of these is the inductance control, which allows you to specifically influence the arc behaviour.
Inductance on the RED MIG 210 SYN – briefly explained
The inductance affects how smooth or direct the arc operates during MIG/MAG welding.
By setting it appropriately, the welding process can be made softer or more dynamic, without having to change basic parameters such as current or wire feed.
You can find a detailed explanation of how it works and the adjustment options in the article
“Inductance in Welding”.
Your advantage with the RED MIG 210 SYN
With the inductance function of the RED MIG 210 SYN, you benefit from:
a smoother, more consistent arc
fewer welding spatters
a clean, even weld appearance
better control, especially with thinner materials
Especially when dealing with changing tasks, this function helps you to quickly achieve stable and reproducible results.
Setting the Inductance
To set or adjust the inductance on the MIG 210 SYN from RED by Lorch, press the "Inductance Setting" button (1) on the control panel. You can then use the rotary push controller (2) to adjust the inductance negatively or positively.
