feature functions that make starting the weld easier and improve the work result.
One of these functions is the creep speed, which is also used in the MIG 210 SYN from RED by Lorch.
Creep speed on the RED MIG 210 SYN
The RED MIG 210 SYN features an integrated creep speed for the wire feed.
This function is active in MIG/MAG welding mode and works automatically in the background.
The function is independent of the type of welding wire used, so it works both for "normal" MIG/MAG welding and with flux-cored wire (FLUX).
At the start of the welding process, the wire is first fed at a reduced speed.
After the arc has been safely ignited, the machine automatically regulates the wire feed to the set working value.
The user does not need to make any additional settings for this.
Advantage for the user
Thanks to the creep speed, the RED MIG 210 SYN offers:
a smooth, controlled welding start
fewer spatters when striking the arc
consistent results with easy operation
synergy mode, this function particularly supports users who value reproducible results.
