Possible Causes and Solutions

No or Poor Ground Contact
Elimination:Attach the ground clamp to a clean, conductive spot on the workpiece or in its immediate vicinity
Secure the plug of the ground cable to the device by turning it clockwise until it stops
Welding Current Set Too Low
Elimination: Increase welding current.Gas Flow Rate Incorrectly Set (When MIG-MAG or TIG welding)
Elimination: Set according to the Operating Instructions.Incorrect Wire Diameter (When MIG-MAG welding)
Elimination: Select according to the operating instructions.Incorrect Electrode Diameter (When MMA or TIG welding)
Elimination: Select according to the operating instructions.Tungsten Electrode Contaminated or Incorrectly Ground (When TIG welding)
Elimination: Grind correctly, replace tungsten electrode if necessary.Plug is Loose
Elimination: Check, remove surface rust if necessary.Permissible Duty Cycle Exceeded
Elimination: Allow the device to cool down while idling.Airflow Obstructed
Remedy: Check air inlet and outlet on the device.Fan Defective
Remedy: Turn the device off and on; the fan must start briefly; replace if necessary.Ambient Temperature Too High
