The fan is responsible for cooling your welding machine. If the fan motor is not working properly or rotates slowly, the device can overheat and, in the worst case, be damaged. Below you will find possible causes and solutions.

Notes:
Please note that for the RED TIG 180 DC the fan does not run continuously, as the fan in this welding machine is temperature-controlled. See also: "Fan motor not working or running slowly (RED TIG 180 DC)"
Insufficient cooling can lead to thermal overload and shutdown of the device. If the cause cannot be clearly identified or if there is a technical defect, please contact us via the contact form.
